If you are around the Toronto area I am sorry for destroying the geocache by taking everything from it and taking a piss and shit in it for you to experience..please forgive me

This is the doc that got me onto caching, so thank you! Been at it for 3 years now. I'm a TV producer and I just moved from Canada to the Middle East where some of the most extreme hides ever are. I've developed a new geocaching TV show and we're shooting the pilot episode for satellite TV in a few days. Check out the GC forum's Arabian Peninsula section for more info. One of the caches we're hoping to do if the show gets picked up is GCAA76, but we're shooting the pilot with GC2NYGF.

What a waste of time

I've learned over the years (before I started geocaching) that being called a geek really isn't a bad thing. So we like what we like - is it really bad?

David, phenomenal piece that I saw run on PBS. Very well produced, written and informative. And infectious. As the best testimony I have become interested in geocaching and have encouraged many friends. Thanks for the great work!

I personally don't think cachers are automatically "geeks". As the filmmaker, I happened to interview people who thought of that subculture they were a part of as geeks. I just documented what they said. I learned that that Geocaching attracts all sorts of people, but the founders of the sport consider themselves geeks. But Geeks have taken over the world (Bill Gates & Steve Jobs, case in point).
