The mushroom is considered a training tool for gymnasts. It's not even part of the events. Eventually you work up to the pommel horse or even tougher, on the ground. For me, the mushroom took a few years to get. Anyway, here it is...

late tip but... look at your hands! If you don't see where your hands are, you could easily slip off and die (especially on harder skills and pommels). It would also help you correct hand positions as you get further and further

Dude ur retarded(guy who made video$ u do use mushroom in gymnastics comp ex) level 5 is 3 circles + dismount... I did 9 and a dismount today haha I'm on my way back from the gym right now.
