Hey guys sorry if we offend some guys with the extreme nature and rawness of our sport. There is much debate about all aspects of fishing, tag and decease and tuna in a tin. I know none of these justify anything. But at least spearfisherman are conscious killers and have to deal with their catch. There is way more awe and appreciation in these guys than those who whip down another California roll at the sushi bar.

For the rest of you thanks for the encouragement and I hope you enjoy the films.

All I ask is that you refrain from targeting endangered species, even if there are no laws against such. I condemn the killing of one or hundreds of any endangered species and ask for your help to promote this type of thinking and become self governing and not wait for a law to protect endangered species. We try to change the minds of all not just one.

@ITZTV really appreciate the films and keep em comming. forget the negative people out there who are only on here to get a rise out of other people. they'd gladly overlook the hundreds of fish that were caught as bycatch for their filet o fish sandwich because there are no footage for them to lift their noses up at. just keep doing what your doing. there are a lot of sensible people who enjoy our culture as much as you and i and your footage helps get us through those "dry" spells

@videomansa The only thing I trust them to do is taste amazing with some olive oil. If you saw the scale these fish are harvested on a commercial level in Mexico, you would realize how TRIVIAL it is to complain about a single fish being speared. They are NOT protected where we hunt them and the populations are healthy. You seem like a SCUBA diver, so your opinion of how easy it is to hunt them holds no weight. I guarantee you could not freedive 70+ feet and work them out of a cave.

Mycteroperca jordaniis listed as endangered (EN) because of an inferred population decline of at least 50% over the past 30 years, based on anecdotal evidence and directly attributed to intensive fishing pressure. Did you even know this? In some countries you would be jailed for killing a endangered species!
