It's actually up in Canada, so sorta Idaho-ish! We ran the Lochsa a couple years back - the upper river (a stretch up from LochsaFalls) is kick ass whitewater. Plus we ran a bunch of other stuff nobody wanted to see us die in, but watched anyway.
I would be afraid I'd get knocked out of that thing I think I will stick with my kayak I know I wont get knocked out my dagger! How are the paddlers kept in the "CreatureCraft"?
We're literally strapped in. The seats are strapped to D-rings mounted directly to the craft & then they have (at least) 2" Velcro straps with which to throw across your thighs. This is probably one of the best videos to demonstrate how well it works, plus you could always "unstrap" if you feel like swimming. Not recommended.
