the derive is about finding a sense of freedom through disorientation. whilst this looks like it could be fun for a few, it really has fuck all to do with situationism. but i guess trying to marry radical concepts to abortive creativity is how you 'artists' make your bread ;-)

Well, it was a bunch of us who make situationist art playing a "derive of music". And, I've never made a cent on my art.

yeah, but I think we were using old car horns from fire trucks and just blowing through them. Found object music art.

The situationism is the celebration of freedom, of critic to bussiness, critic of mass culture, critic of cybernatizing of human specie.

Yes, well think of this as a "derive of music". We are all artists that are influenced by the likes of Debord and others and during the intermission of a performance art show this just happened. Critiques can also be fun.
