Two Brothers M5 Carbon with P1 inserts on DL 1000 V-Strom

Some sounds of my new exhaust. Two Brothers are known for their characteristic growl. Some say that these tubes are the loudest of all aftermarket pipes. Well, they may be but I don't consider them as too loud, at all. I think I just got used to them - don't even need to ride with baffles anymore. I've got an Arai helmet and they are definitely not the quietest ones so it's not bad.

I'm not sure if there is any exhaust for DL 650 but on SV 650 (the same engine) TBR sounds really, really good. Huge improvement over the stock "gay" exhaust of the 650.

Just installed the same killer exhaust - what noise without the inserts, even with still a bit on the loud side. I would prefer Yoshi but they don't make it for the DL :-(

@Dakarrrrrr Well, TBR sound fantastic but you're right - they're quite loud. Most of the time I ride solo and rarely make trips longer than 250kms, therefore TBR without baffles are fine. I know your wife's not exaggerating with TBR being way too loud for her seating in the back. I know there are P1 inserts and P1X for these exhausts. First ones cut around 3-4 dB and the P1X 7-8dB which is a lot! You may have the P1X, check it out. If it's still too loud then you can always wear earplugs :-)
