Kent Furman Long A member of Charlotte, NC FD Eng23ine 'A' shift. Died suddenly 12/1/2006 while on duty. This is my Photo story of the days up to his final ride.
very sad. earlier this year in NC two Rhodestown vol. firefighters died on the way to the scene of a mobile home fire. please pray for their familys too.
i am a fellow firefighter even though i have never lost a brother i can only image how hard it must be godbless ENG23INE and my prays are with you guys
My condolenses go out to the members of ENG23INE. It's hard when you lose a fellow brother in the line of duty. Orange County Fire/Rescue in central florida lost two fellow brother firefighters in 1989. Their deaths could've been prevented if the emergency exits weren't chained shut. May Mark Benge and Todd Aldridge rest in peace. Bless the members of ENG36INE.
This is a very unique video, in the fact that we have all seen a brother's last ride, but breaking it down to the prep of the engine and the uniforms is something other videos don't show. Bravo! RIP, Brother.
my thoughts and prayers go out to the Furman family and the CFD. rest easy brother, stay strong 23 house!

Thanks for the video, we rarely lose a member in the line of duty, I simply can't imagine what it must be like, stay safe people.
