Mo coming in and warming up against the Detroit Tigers on Old Timers' Day 2009

New York Yankees closer Mariano Rivera, a devout Christian - who says God gave him talent, coming into the game and warming up with battery mate Jorge Posada in the 9th inning on July 19, 2009.

Mariano is one of the best closers, if not the best, in major league baseball. He is constantly called into a game to get the final outs and secure the win. It's probably a nerve wracking experience, but not for Mo. How? Mariano places his trust in God, period.

On staying calm: "I don't get nervous. I trust God. If I get nervous, I can't do my job."

So let Mariano be an example to us, when we're in a pressure situation, let us put our trust and faith in the Lord, and let Him be our guide through the challenge.
