Its a wonderful day in Pallet Town, and Ash is enjoying the summer air.
Then, when he speaks to the lady below his house, all hell breaks loose.
All of his friends, foes and mentors disappear, and more importantly, his mother.
Ash is heartbroken and convinced that he kills everyone he touches (after making the potion man disappear) and ends his life by jumping off a ledge.
May he rest in peace.
