  • what was too funny???? Our astronauts disenigrating, losing the shuttle, not sure where the humor lies in this event, oh the car alarm going off?? hahaha you have a weird sense of what is deemed funny..

  • okay, i lost my comment, but the three remaining shuttles are: Atlantis, Endeavour, & Discovery... The two that are lost are: Challenger (Jan 1986) & Columbia( Feb 2003)

    the o-ring caused expansion & the leak on the Challenger, & the tile damage to the wing caused it to ultimately come apart,piece by piece, until a leak into the cabin at great speed & the surrounding heat & fire as they were re-entering at such a high rate of speed caused all to burn up in a matter of seconds..

  • my dad was watching this as it was entering the atmosphere and he said "what if it explodes" and only 12 seconds later it broke into pieces.
