just cause you can get higher scores from some moves in basketball doesn't mean that its better! in basketball you can go anywhere (sorry if im wrong) but in netball you are only aloud in certain areas, making you have to dodge and be quick and have accurate passes to even get the ball into the 'small circle'. the hoop is also smaller so you have to be more accurate. in basketball the hoop is big so its easier to get a ball in.

Basketball has a greater injury chance than netball. B-ball takes a lot of things. Netball takes some of it. B-ball is a high scoring sport. I understand netball is too,but B-ball has higher scoes. In b-ball,you can layup,dunk,and hit 3-pointers.Those shots raise the socre. In netball you have to stand in a small circle. You have to stand,while in b-ball you have to run,pass,and shoot. In B-ball you can shoot from any point of the court. Thers's also WNBA.(Womens basketball.)

I find it funny how some of you say basketball is batter than Netball. Netball = faster, players Sprint almost the whole game when basketball players jog. Netball= skill, you have aim, strength, speed. Basketball.... ypu just bounce it . Netballers have to be fit and have stamina. And i laugh when people say Netball is rubbish cause Its a girly non-contact sport But Netball is the most contact sport that is meant to be non-contact. We are just sly. I know someone who nearly broke a rib playing .

To be honest, at school I had to play netball and basketball and basketball was so much harder. I think was because I was so used to standing still when I caught the ball and it didn't feel natural running with it...

@mizzmist and u shoot with one hand in basketball your non dominant hand is just a guide way to the basket so u don't drop it while shooting. Can u shoot one handed 30 feet away from the net on netball even if there was a backboard? Nope...

@mizzmist basketball hoops for guys are like a inch bigger but guys basketballs are bigger also and u have people pushing u and trying to block u. So honestly basketball is or harder cause u can move but u only have 5 players and u can shoot from like past that line around the net in netball so netball is really easy. I'm not comparing them but basketball is a lot harder and is all running u can't stop or the ball gets snatched off u half the time.

@markebla Are you kidding me! This is better than basketball? Evolved more advanced and faster? Its a lame, slow, non contact version of basketball. This game was invented for the white female athletes that couldnt play competitive basketball with black female athletes. Its that simple.
