About the creation of this film

'Children's Sausage' was created for the Britspotting Horror Video Challenge 2006 in Berlin. Production took place within three days:
On Thursday, March 30th at 6pm, which was our starting time, we were given three elements to be included in the 3-minute movie - how to do this was up to the film makers. We noted down 'swimming pool, laughing and toothpick' and got going.

Submission Date was Sunday night at 10pm.
All thirty short films submitted were shown on Sunday, the 23rd of April, in the Acud movie theater. Among these thirty shorts, 'Children's Sausage' was awarded 'Third-Best Horror Video' of the festival.

wow that was truly disturbing, but funny...hard to take cool little animations seriously. Looked like fun making it. Good job!

Yes, we had a lot of fun during 3 hard days of making that movie. 2 days for animation, 1 day for sound and compositing. We worked the hole days, but never the nights.
