This was recorded in 96. This vocoder solo is so hot its wet like lava! ROFL! I have never heard anyone else do this with a vocoder but that doesn't mean I'm the first..Sly is still the greatest funkster of all time.:)

@RTjman Thanks man..but it was originally done on a DX7..I used the same vocoder model Boss SE70 in all my vocoder vids.. I just key synced this vid with the Red Roland because it's easier to film than something on a stand.:)

@holaatdaman ..lol..it's a serious vocoder...I'm glad it sound good on youtube. Some of my music doesn't sound like the real track once youtube encodes it. I'm just thankful you can hear the idea.
