100% Flan Princess x8 Encounter in Final Fantasy IV Advance

I used my All-99-Rydia with her Adamant Armor I got the other day. Very nice ^_^
This shows a neat trick, to always encounter eight Flan Princesses in the Flan room in the Lunar Ruins in Final Fantasy IV Advance. This encounter cannot be summmoned with a Siren (unlike the one in the final dungeon).
But here you'll encounter eight instead of five.

The chances for a Pink Tail increse to 1/160 for each encounter, instead of 1/256. It's worth spending some hours here.

In order to spawn these guys, you will have to get to this room. You will ONLY encounter flans here. THIS encounter, is pretty rare. Just flee from every fight until you encounter those guys. That might take a while (about 10 minutes). After that will follow 5 or 6 random encounters. The next encounter WILL be Flan Princess x8. After that fight flee from 5/6 fights and they appear again. Unfotunately this will work only about 5-7 times (5-7 Princess encounters).
After that you'll have to quicksave and continue and start over.

Now I'm going to get my Pink Tails!

I just got a pink tail. It took over 300 godamned sirens. Characters are like lvl 92 and maxed gil lol

Same here it really takes a hella load of tries because the drop engine in this game is completely horrible.

Holy shit. I'm trying to get ONE Pink Tail right now, and it is NOT happening! Maybe I should Quicksave after every single fight so I don't waste more Sirens than I already have....

No joke. It will take oyu forever to get one Pink Tail. It's just a pain in the ass. But all about luck.

Yup, unfortunate to have a rare item that is so rare that it really isn't even worth getting, because by the time you can get it you'll never need it anyway.

1/160 or 1/256 chance doesn't mean you're guaranteed to get one after that many fights.

You could be terribly unlucky and never, ever get one no matter how long you play.

It's sort of like playing Diablo 2.

i think you can find these flan enemies if you use a siren in the lunar ruins. its the room where you got the red fang ( the room before the two bridges)

not very detailed but try to find it and ABUSE YOUR SIRENS
