lol. you don't get it do you. this isn't really about vCJD. its about opening korean beef market.
even your admirer Obama is against FTA w/ korea b/c all american car companies are going out of business. although invisible to you, the exact same thing is happening with korean cattle ranchers. think, stupid.
lol. do you have any of your OWN ideas. everything you said in here is "b/c the rest of the world said its ok, therefore its ok." lets talk about principles here.
if you think people don't need to gather anymore b/c the U.S. democracy has perfected the form of government, think again. Even Churchill said democracy is the worst form of government. (this isn't exactly what he meant, but i'm just using it to mean there is always a room for improvement--even it goes agaist traditonal means)
again, the HISTORY of korean democracy and american one is entirely different. in the name of future economic growth and prosperity, life liberty and pursuit of happiness have been stripped away by the dictatorship (sadly, they were all endorsed by the U.S.) don't you think the same is occuring here? when FTA is pushed forward for ecnomic prosperity but is wiping off all korean farmers and ranchers?
btw speaking of amnesty, "Candlelight protests in central Seoul against the resumption of US beef imports began on 2 May 2008 and continued for more than two months. The protests were for the most part peaceful but there were sporadic incidents of violence...unnecessary or excessive use of police force, including the misuse of police and security equipment during the protests; arbitrary arrest and detention; a lack of adequate training of the police; and a lack of police accountability."
by 1930, all countries in the world (including the UNITED STATES, where the president even stated that every minority should have sovereignty) acknowledged japan's justified annexation of backwarded hermit nation of korea. and fyi 박정희 too.
