  • Any update on when the full feature might be coming out?

  • Malawian music could so easily be international but it's just hard to get hold of any songs. I have been trying and I know others have too, to find songs that we heard when we were out there but it's impossible.

  • Still waiting with baited breath for the full feature! How is it coming along? Hope it will be ready 'just now'!

  • I'm super excited to see this documentary! When will it be released??

  • Has the full film been released yet? Would love to see it!

  • I'm really glad to "Discover" this clip/ project. I used to live in Malawi & played w/ some bands there in Lilongwe & Blantyre. But my favorite music is the traditional danced to by gulu wamkulu. That is completely distinctive a is the dance. I'd love to go back & CO-produce. The development of the tradition is a guided process but it usually comes from the fearless visionaries. Rather than change, you adopt... oops (no Madonna), adapt w/ feedback from outside. Looks like a great film

  • I get moved by projects like this. This is excellent work. One small problem though: i get troubled by phrases like 'a story of music left Undiscovered'? BY WHOM? I'm just saying the language of old-age Ethnography doesnt do it for me. its like the same way David Livingstone 'Discovered' Lake Malawi!

I would have loved if the wording was different and i hope the documentary does not carry the same feel. Nevertheless, i cant wait to see it.
