Any calibrating involved with the Extech AN100?
Thanks!

So, what effect does the wand have on this....EXACTLY?
I am interested in doing the same, but have been told that "it means nothing once the wand is attached....makes no difference really!"
Thanks!

What is the size blower and model on that machine? Thanks for the video!!

What's the point,
not much increase in suction
loss of heat
and how much more of a hassle it is to move around that thickness of hose
-
You could also increase engine rpms slightly to make up for heat loss and gain even more vac boost.

Nice video!

I really enjoyed this video. I would love to see readings with the wand on the carpet and also may be next time you can add a vac gauge at the end of the hose.
We did similar testing at an event in Atlanta but we also used a vac gauge. We noticed that there was an increase in cfm but there was a drop of 2" of lift.
Anyone thinking of doing this with their truckmount has to be aware that the reduced load on the engine from opening the airflow will cause a loss of heat.

Doing this whole upgrade and not completing 2.5 right to the waste tank would have been a waste. I didnt want a "bottleneck" effect in the airflow. Changing to a different blower would be silly and massively expensive. I wanted a reading "at the wand" exactly as I would be cleaning before and after.
