Giovanni Martinelli (22 October 1885 – 2 February 1969) was a celebrated Italian operatic tenor. He was particularly associated with the Italian lyric-dramatic repertory, although he performed French operatic roles to great acclaim as well. Martinelli was one of the most famous tenors of the 20th century, enjoying a long career at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City and appearing at other major international theatres.
Wonderful Performance!!! Thank you for sharing this video.

Giuseppe De Luca (December 25, 1876 – August 26, 1950), was a famous Italian baritone who achieved his greatest triumphs at the New York Metropolitan Opera. He notably created roles in the world premieres of two operas by Giacomo Puccini: Sharpless in Madama Butterfly (at La Scala, Milan, 1904) and the title role in Gianni Schicchi (Metropolitan Opera, 1918).
Wonderful Performance!!! Thank you for sharing this video.

Lovely.Easy to see the mutual respect for each other.TY Edmund for posting.
the occasion was a fête for De Luca, at the Met I believe. The two recorded frequently, and as you can tell, had great rapport.
