@thesampler999 I have a perverse appreciation for the structures that "kill" art.
In my opinion all that really occurs is the impurities are strained off of it and coagulated into a form that is easily and readily identified. This "impure" form then stands as the antithesis of the "pure" form and through the rejection of its antithesis the "pure" form further defines itself.
Or as Aesop Rock said: "Metal frame, walking through a metal game with a limp".

yooooooooo mainstream music is music that gets bought. these days people have found out how to design music so it is bought, thus purposely appeals to the public like it was a fuckin mass produced consumer product. that is an example of art dying.
