One of the few remaining 141s pays a now very rare visit to Belfast on 12.12.2009 to deliver mk3 generator van 7608 to York Road Depot. These vans are to be used with the Diedietrich coaches on Belfast-Dublin passenger trains instead of the HEP on the 201 class locomotives which was installed against the advice of General Motors and has caused frequent train failures. The movement is seen passing Yorkgate station

I haven't seen this generator van on the Enterprise services yet. Has testing with the van finished?

Testing has not finished and the vans are NOT in service yet. There was a suggestion a while back of electrical problems but since then everything has gone quiet
