One thing I'd like to mention about arcades is that, even though they exist, the "culture" is dead.
What I mean by this is: I remember going to arcades(when my city still had them) and it was perfectly alright to play games with or against a stranger. You can't do that nowadays. People think you're a freak.

One other thing not to forget are Jukeboxes. Before coin-op, record-based jukeboxes were invented, there were player-pianos and music boxes that did the same function. Ain't history great! :)

Ross Park Mall! Nice :D I live 10 minutes from there and I used to spend HOURS at RPM at there arcade and Spencers. You surprised me when you said you played there too. Do you still live in Pittsburgh?
