Per NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center.
Moderate (G2) geomagnetic storming is occurring and Strong (G3) storms are likely in conjunction with the arrival of the solar eruptions from April 18th and 19th. These eruptions arrived within hours of their expected times and the second event came in with the magnetic field favorably oriented for moderate to strong storming.

Well done, It looks like a time lapse but I guess the sound cancels it out. What camera were you using?

Thank you thank you for not adding some horribly shitty cheesy music to this. It's beautiful on its own.

For me there is nothing more powerful or awe inspiring than to watch and listen to something clearly ethereal. Pulsating orbs of color against the black silky night and the symphony of silence. There is sound to silence. However, I would not call vangelis or motzart, cheesy. Course it would depend on one's definition of cheesy. Pretty sure cheezy wouldn't get far.

Wind noise is nice and natural!! I've only seen a few auroras in Kansas - it's pretty rare when it happens. I'm thinking we've seen three or maybe four in the past 17-20 years.
