In 1947 the local rebels, led by Col. Mahmood Khan, defeated the Dogra army at Joona-Dabrian and took control of Sehnsa-Sariah valley. Mr Fateh Baz, a resident of Dabrian, was a young man at the time and witnessed the conflict as it unfolded over several days. He also had a small part to play in the conflict by helping the rebels pass news to other posts. In this interview he tells of his eye-witness account.
