The world's leading cause of death for women between ages 15-49 is HIV and AIDS. As Katie Couric comments, 70 percent of women are pressured, bullied and even beaten into having unprotected sex.

It should be noted that not only is this disease a leading cause of death among women because they live in conditions that deny them the ability to be their own persons but also in the states where we do have those choices.

It is a problem among women in the states and when we start to box into categories so we can explain why we lose focus on the cause. Interview me. Talk to a young women in the states who is living with it. Don't just decide that it belongs to them.
