  • You Vaselined the shit outta the motor... lol least it was done right... new apex seals or did you reuse the old ones to save on break-in time? I used to reuse em in my racing motors...

  • yeah, thats how u gotta do it. We used brand new factory mazda 3mm apex seals, and then tell the customer to take it easy for the first 500miles.

  • He put Oil in the Combustion chamber.

Engine's have alot more heat in the break in times.Rotarys can lockup and other dmg far easyer then other types from heat.

  • Wrong....it's not oil...but nice guess! LOL

  • Then what is it.

  • It's actually Vaseline, baby powder scent to be exact LOL

  • @DarkSalvation: sorry, got cut off... you may have only a stuck seal or bad rotors seals, but honestly I can't tell you for certain as its just speculation without my hands on it. Did you take it apart already, done any kind of compression check? That will tell you a lot about what's going on... off you decide to replace the seals do all of them, or none at all... but I'm sure you know that ;)

  • @DarkSalvation: Yup, as long as the inside of your housing isnt gouged or there isn't any scaring/excessive wear on the seal surface you can reuse apex seals. In fact a lot of the race motors used in SCCA club race cars reuse their seals to keep friction down and keep a good loose rotating assembly. New seals make a lot of friction which means less power. Just make sure to clean them down, and keep the orientation of the seal

  • @Muddy79Ford You can reuse the old ones? I need to get mine replaced badly, it only has combustion in the rear rotor and I've checked my plugs and wires, coil packs also and they're working just fine. I don't mean to trouble you with any questions but I live out in the middle of nowhere in Wyoming and the local mechanics basically scratch their asses in wonderment.. Best way to go about solving this? I would really appreciate it, gotta get my Rx back on the road man!

  • @Rotaryisgarbage I'm a college student and i use it as a daily driver, so really, i dont really cive a crap about what you have to say about my civic. i bought it because it was cheap and it gets me to school and it saves on gas. you still want to get all nuts? you may be older than me but you sure dont act like it... grow up already haha

  • @guitarguy159 You drive a Civic? That explains a lot. You are second to the bottom on the food chain next to the rotards. Nobody takes a Civic driver seriously. Did you get your coffee fart can yet?

If the rotary is so great, how about you put one in your Civic? Oh, I forgot, you are too stupid for that undertaking. You probably can't even put on your bling wheels without having an issue. LOL

  • @guitarguy159 i sould go make a fake account and name it "Rotaryisgarbageneedsafregginlife"

  • @Rotaryisgarbage insult? and exactly what are you doing? haha jeeze... rotard? haha i drive a civic dumbass, but noooo you had to get all salty balls and flame videos from the safety of your basement or wherever you sit all day and make fun of rotary engines... seriously get off the computer and go out and make some real friends... REAL FRIENDS.... lol or not, honestly, what you do is your own business but if you respect yourself... stop being an dumbshit... JUST DONT LOOK AT THE VIDEO...

  • @guitarguy159 Another rotard that can't accept the truth and has to insult because he feels hurt.

Sorry the truth about the rotary engine being junk bothers you but get over it.

  • @aji8 jealous bro?

  • @Rotaryisgarbage wow a bit obsessed about expressing their anger towards something as harmless as a rotary engine...

seriously you're childish enough to create a whole new account for the sole purpose of being an ignorant 12 year old
