This is a music video to the Sakamoto Kyu former #1 hit Ue O Muite better know as the Sukiyaki song.
Everything was shot in Japan mostly in the Tokyo area.

  • The reason it was tagged as "Sukiyaki song" is because of it's success and the Americans difficulty with pronouncing the Japanese title. Only foreign language song to ever reach # 1 in the U.S. 1963. "I look up when I walk" so my tears won't fall.

  • I look up when i walk so the tears won't fall remembering those happy spring days

    but tonight i'm all alone.

    I look up when i walk counting the stars with tearful eyes remembering those happy summer days but tonight i'm all alone

    Happiness lies beyond the clouds happiness lies above the sky

    I look up when i walk so the tears won't fall though my heart is filled with sorrow

    for tonight i'm all alone

    Remembering those happy autumn days but tonight i'm all alone

    "sniff" :'-/

  • now i know what to listen to when looking at manga

  • 日本がんばれよ!

  • The real name of the song (translating Ue O Muite Arukou from Japanese) is "I Look Up When I Walk". I believe nowhere on original Japanese pressings of the single was to be found the word "Sukiyaki" (a beef dish), and nothing in the Japanese lyrics suggests anything to do with food

  • @boyan64 Stop killing billions of chickens pigs and cows you fat-faced obese moron
