@Coasterintheyard Actually, the first coaster to break the 200 foot barrier was Moonsault Scarmble at Fuji-Q Highland. The first coaster to be taller than 300 feet was Tower of Terror at Dreamworld. Superman: Escape From Krypton at Six Flags Magic Mountain was the first coaster to exceed 400 feet in height. Cedar Point didn't break any of those height records.

@4373fg True, but my argument is still valid. When you become too technical, the records mean less and less.
Um actually, the record for most roller coasters in a theme park is now tied between magic Mountain AND Cedar Point.

You forgot Wicked twister (tallest impulse coaster), raptor (first inverted coaster with a cobra roll), Magnum (first roller coaster to break 200ft[first Hyper Coaster]), Millennium Force (first coaster to break 300ft[first Giga Coaster]), and top thrill dragster (first coaster to top 400ft[strata coaster]) In addition, Magnum, Millennium, and Dragster were all tallest and fastest in the world for a while.
