The oxygen doesn't become "thinner" at higher elevation. There is still the same percentage of oxygen but it the partial pressure of the oxygen in the air...so.......HOW NEAT IS THAT?!

Yes he did and that's correct and consistent with industry reference. A blower is a parasitic loss to crankshaft power.
