would it close when you did alot of effects and transitions? the same thing happened with me. i have a new computer now but the way i fixed it was(this will be hard for you though) i would make a video with like 20 but KEEP THE MUSIC ON DONT SHORTEN IT then you save it then you open it up in windows movie maker and finish off from that video. or you can do what i said before do an error scan through your whole computer.
