  • I think sounds are a good idea. One of my engine makes an amazing realistic diesel sound via its motor. But I like playing with my engines that have smoke boxes up. I have a few of them that Tri-ang made. Full pelt and ye get steam :)

  • As far as im aware the loco will run just fine but with bachmann the sound wont work. With companies like broadway limited imports and athearn the sound will work on non dcc. but ive been told its better to just use dcc

  • If a person has a non DCC layout and puts a dcc equipped loco with sound what happens?

Will it break or have a basic engine sound etc?

  • Hahahah - wicked!!. Now that brings back a few memories! :) Must get one.
