Awesome work! For those asking, it is Very rewarding!! I'm a homehealthcare ST and I love it! I've been in the schools, in clinics, and love home healthcare best! Very competitive salaries, outside of school systems. This therapist is great! I just got some good ideas!

I'm currently in university and I am studying to become a speech language pathologist! It looks like a really rewarding career!

I am in school for speech pathology and I am really looking forward to therapy and clinical experience because I enjoy watching the progress that patients make over time and I look forward to being responsible for therapy and its positive results!

Omg. This is it. This. Is. IT! I'm gonna study this in college. And that's that. I can soooo see myself doing this and loving every minute of it just like this wonderful lady in the video seems to be enjoying it. Wow. Gotta love children and their willingness to learn once the right motivation is put into place.

(continuation of last post) How can you not know that language is the most complex way of communication and that without having the more concrete domains mastered there is no way language can be acquired???
Thank you for being a great speech language pathologist!!!!

I really want to express the excitement I just experienced when I saw this video!!! I am so happy to see that there are Speech language pathologists that understand the importance of proprioceptive input in their therapy and how sensory stimulation can change a child's performance. I am a speech therapist myself, and I have fought so much with therapists that don't incorporate this in their practice and who tell me that their job is to help the child produce speech!!!

I honestly have no idea how much it pays in dollars, but to pull a boy with autism out of the fog and week by week teach him our language is an extremely rewarding job.
