Jack shows you another great Aunt Myrna recipe.
Here is the recipe.

five minute fudge

1/2 cup evaporated milk

2 cups sugar

4 tbsp cocoa

1/2 cup butter

tsp vanilla

boil over flame for 5 minutes.

to test fudge is done, drop in room temp water and if it curls up it's done.

  • Can I use any thing to substitute evaporated milk???

  • @124randomness not sure. try an internet search "replace evaporated milk"

  • Say, Jack. Ive noticed your editing is good. So what editing software do you use? And will it work for Windows 7? How much does it cost?

P.S. You're doing as amazing as ever, possibly better, never mind you're the f*cking best!

  • @NoobPwner2448 I use final cut pro. The new version is coming out for mac in June 2011. if your on a PC then go with Adobe Premiere. it's the best PC editing software out there.

  • where do i get evaporated milk? im not expirienced with buying ingredients, they're usually all there for me to use.please tell me!

  • @TestesAreNowGone any supermarket on the baking aisle. Just ask someone for help at the store.

  • @NoobPwner2448 remember; all programs are free... if you look hard enough... personally, I like Sony Vegas 10e, but Jack recommends Final Cut Pro, so if you find that that works for you then by all means use that instead

  • what does it mean by evaporated milk

  • Jack, I love your show, I've gotten some good ideas, it is funny, and I look forward to your new videos on Fridays...but that was some nasty fudge. It looked like ice cream sauce. There was too much sugar and not enough heat. I've never been a fan of timing the boil of candy. You have to use a candy thermometer. I just made some peanut butter fudge for Christmas and I think it needed to be about 235 deg. It turned out awesome. Firm, creamy, and not too sweet.

  • Lol on 2:06 on the red bar :-)

  • Jack, what is the difference between regular milk, and evaporated milk? I never got what the difference was.

  • Hi--Just watched your fudge. Now this is the way I learned to make fudge watching my mother back in W. VA. The only difference is that when she dropped the fudge in the water, she said it had to make a "ball" before dropping to the bottom. Other than that, I love Aunt Myrna's recipes. Ask her if she ever heard of Grape-Nuts pudding. Mother used to make it all the time and have never been able to find a recipe for it. So I devised my own, but somehow it's not the same. Love the show.

  • Excellent and so clear;-)

  • iam 11 ad i made it it is good

  • @trainfan761 i'm 11 lol
