what level do you get the weapon pods? i could have used them from the beginning.

@gamehunter27 The stars are for weapon power-ups like auto-fire (increased rate of fire), rockets, a sonic pulse, a wide shot, rockets and a high-voltage electric weapon called Lightning. Observe them in the video (Note: Lightning is only available in Level 4.)

Hehe yup it happens if you destroy the purple ships before they flip. They don't explode until they do flip up, so if you reduce them to zero health before that happens, they end up spewing fruit until that point. Purely bad programming on my part.
I think this was fixed in some of the later versions of the game... but think of it as a "feature" if you like...

I have platypus for the mac computer. I beat the whole game. There were only 4 worlds on my game, not 6. Also in the last world on my game, I found a cheat. It was a points cheat. It was in Area 3. You must have the Weapon Pods for this. You'll need the electric power. You will see 2 big purple enimies. Shoot one down before it opens its wings. If you have done it right lots of fruit will come out. I have done this a lot of times. You will also get a lot of points for this. Platypus is great!

Where are the promised levels you were going to post? It's been a year or two already.
BTW, I gotta find a download to that boss theme. It's epic.

More Autofire ownage... too bad the producers didn't overcome 99 seconds.
I didn't see the double-point crown earlier, but it gives you a whole lotta points!
HOLY CRAP, the car itself got a great point-and-fruit reward. And with dividing all the fruits...
Can't wait for the next levels. Keep'em coming!
