Here are some clips of tunes we played for a pre-Lent dance (zabava) at St Michael's and George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church this past Feburary 28, 2009. The event was mostly a fund raiser for the Ukrainian School run by the Church; some of us in the band went to this Ukrainian school (held on Saturday mornings during the regular school year) as children!

In this clip: "Oj lopnu obruch" combined with "Doshchyk, doshchyk," then "Choho zh voda kalamutna," "Oj harna ja, harna" and "Maramarosh dobryj varosh."

A note on the last song: Though in the video subtitles it is labeled a "Rusyn" tune, and though we say we play both Ukrainian and Rusyn music, we have no official opinion/position as a group as to whether Rusyns are a sub-group of Ukrainians or an entirely separate East Slav ethnic group. Not for us to say! We just love village music!
