Great ending theme brings back good childhood memories.

I made a slight mistake in my first comment to you: it was actually the 1st season of I Dream of Jeannie that was in black and white; the 2nd season on was filmed in color. I was right about the first two seasons of Bewitched though. :)

I haven't seen these on the Hallmark Channel. But I have seen the first 2 seasons of Bewitched on that network back in 2002, colorized. I don't think the first 2 seasons of Bewitched should have been colorized; it didn't look right, and the color was somewhat off. They were better in black and white when shown on Nick at Nite in the early 90s (same thing with the 1st and 2nd seasons of I Dream of Jeannie). 3rd seasons on had true color.

I've always liked this theme better than the one introduced when "Jeannie" was transformed into color.

After this pilot episode, art director Phil Jeffries, set decorator Dick Mansfield, film editor Al {Asa} Clark, and sound effects artist Sid Lubow never worked on the series again. Veteran costume designer Gwen Wakeling (who designed Jeannie's harem outfits) received screen credit on this episode only. Assistant director Herb Wallerstein moved up to being associate producer in the first season...

The "colorized" pilot episode also turned up on "superstation" WGN, Chicago a few weeks ago during a "Best Of Jeannie" prime-time block they scheduled...

I've seen these 1965-66 season Jeannie episodes colorized - on the Hallmark Channel.
