exploitation of women in commerical rap(hip hop, teen bop rap & gangster rap).

I used BET's 106 & Park as the source matirel, and just included scenes including women and the portral of women in this instances.

See if you find any stereotypes that cross over from video to video.

  • And the sad part is, I totally agree with you. As a woman, I feel strongly about women's rights and I'm willing to stand up for them. But then you have women like this, who make it hard for people like me to help them. Until we learn to respect ourselves, how can we expect others to do so. That's not the way it should be (two wrongs don't make a right), but it's the messed up world we live in.

  • well according to feminists the woman has the right to do whatever she wants with her body including being a hooker a video vixen make abortion have adultery she is free yet i see many feminists whining in these types of videos why

  • @AlizeCiz it's NOT about "wanting" to be in the video. These "women" still exploit themselves. Look up the word "exploit" in the dictionary and learn something.

  • exploitation? im pretty sure these women want to be in the video

  • @MsPollywogg I have uploaded my video about islam vs women objectification already. Youtube this:

The Hijab and the Niqab 1/4

Part 3 is more relevant in this topic, but I recommend you check all parts. Its a must watch,

  • @SandrineSoprano they need to be empowered to know that they have another choice rather than judged for what they do ... most of these women have gotten it into their head that this is how to be from the time they were children... it seems we want to protect our children but the ones that are not protected become judged as adults... like somehow magically when they are 18 they are supposed to just wake up smell the coffee and know better ... i see them all as children who need love & encouraging

  • @Nebulous1982 now that I'm in my 40's I totally see the beauty of this thinking and have come to know many middle eastern women in general and they are amazing strong women overall... many of them are not necessarily muslim either but i'm impressed with middle eastern women in general and find them to be quite healthy and balanced ... but, i do see this in plenty of western women.... i am concerned at the prevalence of exploitation going on around black women... black mothers must be empowered

  • @AuDacitYofTruTh As I am speaking to you, a video is being uploaded about the hijab (muslim veil) vs women objectificaton. 14%.... Subscribe to join the mailing list and recieve the video. Then you can unsubscribe if you like.

  • @Nebulous1982 i think it's fair to say that both cultures islam and western ones exploit women. women are public property in western cultures, while they are private property in islamic cultures, so let's not exaggerate here about how "free" a woman is in say saudi arabia where she is required to cover herself or else. Thanks to feminism in western culture not all women are exploited, but since patriarchy still exists most women will be exploited. Period.

  • The Muslim woman has self respect and does not want to be considered a piece of flesh to be enjoyed by men. She covers herself and forces people to judge by her personality and character, not the curves on her body, and how much skin she shows.

I am currently working on a major video project to clarify everything about Islam once and for all incl women in Islam and their rights.

Youtube: The Original Call Project - Table of contents

  • Female artists also have to show their flesh in bikini, and simulate sexual activity, in order to stay high up on the market. Not naming anyone... Sick!
