@MAS4T0 Well i belive that the left hook can be effective to the body, when youre apponent is throwing his left jab. But i guess that its somewhat left hook,upercut im throwing. Totally agree that its notthat smart using it upstairs though.

This technique shown here is the exact reason that the right hook is not even in the arsenal of most top pros.
The right hook is too slow, you're far too open and it is extremely easy to counter. Any coach worth his salt would teach you to throw a looping right hand instead, he would never even teach the right hook.
Even to the body the right hook is useless, as you'll be hitting the back or the kidneys.
There is a reason that RJJ switched to southpaw whenever he wanted to use his right hook.
