A commentary Trey and Matt admitted that it was pointing to Kyle, so your final conclusion was indeed likely. I had no idea that it was Kenny. Of course it immediately made sense when it was revealed. Love how they did that.

@Neurolanis oh yeah i remember they did that alternate ending in the season dvd where kyle goes to jail in kenny's place, dressed as mysterion. i think either or, kenny or kyle, would have been awesome
