Where he said what young men want to know is "how to have sex with their wives at least once a day." First, you will NOT find that answer in the Bible.
"For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions," (2Ti 4:3) (ESV) Remember these Church Plants will at some point be (hopefully) an Established Church. You can't flip a switch and go from "Planter to Pastor". Preach the Word.

No one can point out where Mark goes wrong. They can only point to where he hurt their feelings.

It takes character and leadership to plant a new church... but when churches get too big, and no new leaders are built, that's when things get stale and go down hill. Founders really care about they plant, but people who just inherit it tend to not care as much.

Such a great message. Many may be offended by it, but they (and me) need a swift kick in the butt and wake up. (And yes, I'm a young man in my 20's.)

Hey, here's an idea! Why go plant a church when there are so many "failing" churches? It is more important to keep churches "alive" than to build new ones. I bet Mark's church plants have directly led to the death of many other churches.

@TheKJVberean I can tell your not much of Berean. Shame on you for judging your brother in Christ! Calvanism nor Arminianism is the issue, Jesus Christ His Death and Resurrection is the GOSPEL by which we are saved.(1 Cor 15:1-4) Stop making Predestination and Free will the issue, this is a perfect example of why the Church is in the lukewarm if not totally Cold state that it is in.

Marks church would be dead as well if he didnt have soo many naive followers listening to his false gospel. Calvinism is from the devil's hell. Just allows ppl to sin its no saving gospel, it's not the gospel of Jesus Christ.

@robaquarian I also wanted to note that your comment about Christianity not bringing anything good to the world is quite ignorant. I just looked up on Forbes largest charities and the top 3 are of Christian start-ups. Not saying that theists or atheists aren't charitable but your statement is rather incorrect and reckless.
you're just spouting nonsense to the wind without any evidence to back up your attacks on Mark Driscoll. stop being an ignorant troll unless you're ready to actually back up your statements.

I think he meant it in more of a metaphorical sense. It's a popular term used in media today, i.e - war on climate change/war on taxes/war on government spending, ect..
