This is terrible art. The guy put together an aesthetically unappealing object, made up an elaborate but illogical justification for why it matters, then a bunch of suckers believed him. The majority of modern art is complete garbage. The artists merely sell you a concept. You should look at an artwork and evaluate it for what it is. If one knew nothing of the context of this work, even of urinals, they wouldn't praise it. It's terrible.

It's important because of dicks like you who get pissed off because they cant find the humor in submitting a urinal into an art exhibit... Dada was never about intellectual stimulation... and I don't know of anyone person who would claim otherwise. It's random, it's ridiculous, it's silly.. That's the point and if you don't get it, you never will!
