Single leg balance reach test & exercise
This exercise is suitable for testing ones balance and proprioception. This test can be used to measure the ability of the body to react to a change in the centre of gravity over the base of support. Using the leg, foot and head drivers we can use a top down or bottom up approach to testing and training. In addition to this, we can challenge this further through additional head movements and eyes open/closed positions. Using the functional grid we can measure distance, angle, height, speed/reps within a set time to compare the left to right side of the body.

Benefits
1. Test becomes the exercise
2. Allows comparison left to right side body
3. Measures one balance and proprioception where ones centre of gravity is moved away from ones base of support
4. Subjective measurements of distance, degree, reps In time etc can be made
5. Tests in all 3 planes
6. Can be Progress and regress using foot hand head drivers
