There are three kinds of homophobes:

The adolescent who doesn’t yet know what it is to be a man.

The religiously insane who need to destroy others in order to feel superior.

Homosexuals who cannot accept themselves. Straight men are never obsessed with homosexual sex and don't waste time bashing gays on YouTube.

Marriage is not a religious institution. No church wedding is legal unless a valid marriage license has been issued by the state. Marriages were not even performed in christian churches until the 11 th century. Many non-relgious people get married evey day in civil marriage ceremonies. Christian fanatics trying to force their primnitive superstitions on everybody is a typical christian tactic to promote their agenda.

A judge is supposed to be unbiased and fair. They are, in this case, elected by the people to apply the laws of the state equally. In this case Texas state law allows for the marriage of opposite sex couples.

In this case this judge beings her own personal bias into play in her roll as an elected judge. If she is biased in her application of this law and against straight couples how can she be considered fair and unbiased when adjudicating from the bench?

I support gay marriage but this woman is disgusting. She is supposed to be a judge, her personal opinions should never enter into the courts. Truly, activist judges are the ultimate oxymoron.

Rather curious. Curious, you base your opinion on something you admit you don't know. Is this how you normally come to your opinions?

Good reason to end DOMA and get a Supreme Court rulling so that no judge can pick and choose. It's called equal rights.
