Joe Frazier gets teary eyed talking about Ali

People like to think that they both hated each other. Wrong. Watch Joe get teary eyed when talking about Ali and the terrible Parkinson's disease that hit Ali in the worst way possible. Ali also decided to show up at Joe's funeral even though he had every right to not show up there and not offend anybody, because of how old he is and because of the disease of course. He was hardly able to walk but he paid tribute to one of the key figures in his life. It's too bad Joe maybe didn't get to see how Ali really felt about him.

Rest in peace, champ. You will never be forgotten.

i really dont like to see any footage of how ali usd to be towards smoking joe when they were fighters. Ali went to over the top with alot of things in the build up to there fights and between. But they always had a respect for each other as people, without the other they would have been champions and legends but with there fights they both became unforgetable names in sport history not just the sport of boxing. R.I.P champ

Speaking from th UK America should be very proud of these amazing black heavy weight boxers. They are revered the whole world over even now in 2012. Ali, Frazier, Norton, Foreman, Holmes. Tyson etc the list goes on and on. And they really were great people too. But For me the 70 s will always be the golden era and smokin Joe must have a special place in anyones heart. RIP you great warrior.

Joe Frazier was without doubt one of the best boxers ever,not the best but for sure this man was a gentleman.he gave everything in life and walked a straight honest path.a pity more of us do not do the same.

@oORedeemerOo Well Ali was the superstar. Frazier did his talking in the ring, but Ali played the media so well. And it was also because Ali was Muslim and really cared about his people. Frazier did too, but Ali was willing to die for his cause and basically with Malcolm X gave the blacks some of their pride and dignity back. Frazier didn't do that, even though he was a great, great fighter and a damn nice fellow aswell.

the biggest shame is that after their amazing trilogy the world gave everything to Ali and Frazier was left with fuck all
