About this speaker: Douglas Coupland is best known for his fiction novels, which include the international best-seller Generation X: Tales for an Accelerated Culture, jPod and Generation A and his art and design projects displayed throughout Canada. For his next project however, he is dropping his keyboard and paintbrush and using a leather factory. Douglas Coupland is collaborating with Roots Canada to create a clothing line that is representative of classic Canadian icons, will define what is to be Canadian and demonstrates a strong national identity.
