  • Hello Peter.

The film has been a favourite of my family since it was released, too. There was a DVD release a few years ago, and I suspect if you do a little hunting around you sholdn't have too much trouble finding this classic!

    Thanks!

  • Been looking for this film for ages!! :) absolutely loves it :).

  • the british only made classic films like this.

  • This movie was always on at xmas time , and when i was younger and VHS players came out i actually wrote to the BBC and asked if they could air it one xmas, so i could record it on my VHS player lol. Things we do when we are kids lol.

Great film, one of my all time fav classics. Obviously i now own it on DVD.

  • where do they sell the dvd

  • love this film.of all the repeat films they show on itv,bbc ,etc why dont they show this one.i was 8 when i saw it at the cinema at dudley west midlands and never forgot it, lol

  • Interesting, the comments from those who spent a lot to buy (or can't find) the DVD. Amazon released a small batch in 2003 and I picked one up then brand new for just £12!

  • love love love

  • thanks for this i loved this film

  • Lynne was so beautiful! At frame 0:55 when she smiles at the boy stealing the keys, you can see just how sweet and radiant she was. I understand she sadly passed away at age 39 from an alcohol-related illness.

  • Great film watched this when i was growing up have always loved it.

Eventually found it on DVD 2 yrs ago and cost £26 a lot of money for a DVD.
