In response to the concerns about the cafeterias, Sodexo actually supports the Away with the Tray campaign, so the only real obstacle is convincing students that they can do without them.

I think students would be okay with getting rid of the tray if they had more meal options. We should get rid of the cafeteria and have dining like the majority of universities and off more SUB friendly foods, and not just Blimpy's. Most students who go to the SUB do not use trays.

i have trayless dining but we are using STYROFOAM plates and they could not be worse for the environment so I am kinda torn on the situation.

Wonderful job, guys. I just hope the cafeterias don't mind the absence of trays, with their important signs of "don't put dishes on the belt w/o a tray!" Pish posh.
