Exponential growth of technology is what defines the Singularity. As technological changes happen at breakneck speed, so too will human culture have to change. Routine has always comforted humanity. We don't accept massive change easily. So what happens at the point in which "progress" goes into overdrive?

It is very likely that a tremendous technological divide will occur. With those that choose to adopt all of these transformative technologies and those that choose to remain human. "Transhumanists" will enjoy new added abilities, and will continue seeking to change by upgrading themselves till theres very little left in them we can call human.

The transhumanist ability to interact with computers through some form of direct brain interface will quickly push them to become preferred over humans in the workforce, This is party due to their increased ability to multitask within an Information driven world at a pace that surpasses human capability.




2 Show how we are being led to accept radical change (media)


The acceptance of radical change is necessary to esablishing the coming new age paradigm. We presently find ourselves at a point in which the generic idea of "change" is being promoted everywhere. The words change and progress constantly bombard our subconscious until the word "change" becomes a unifying mantra for society as a whole. Anyone who dares question the nature of change is instantly condemned.

With all the change headed our way it only makes sense that a technological cast system may end up being created simply to uphold the current social structures as the definition of what is human is slowly blurred.At this point the human race could become completely obsolete. The technological divide would simply grow and grow to the point that humans would be doing nothing more than simply taking up resources. This could bring a battle for species dominance.




Singularity WILL bring mass chaos, this is a stone cold fact. Regardless of this, the push toward technological convergence continues to grow at an increasing rate. Just because the average person has no idea what is on the horizon does not mean that leading scientists, corporations, and governments are in the dark too. Those in the know are working very hard to prepare for the coming chaos, in an attempt to establish a new order.

3 Explain how one of these major changes is the merger of science and religion

By building on the religious paradigms of the passing age, converging technology will be more readily accepted than if it portrayed itself as something completely new. It will be change we can believe in. By merging humanity with tecnology we could literally "be the change."

Collectively we are all hoping for change to come. We can see that the world is in trouble and desperately want solutions. The concept of a divine savior that will come in our darkest hour is deeply rooted within our collective consciousness. Chaos will continue to grow in the near future, and as it does people will be searching even harder for that miracle. Could the solution to global disaster be offered in the form of cutting-edge technology? Could new age technology perform miracles of Biblical proportion?


In the near future, everyone will be offered their own personal virtual universe. This will be equivalent to heaven, which has been promised by religion. It will be a digital utopia where things like crime, money, poverty, pain and suffering will be a thing of the past. This digital heaven (itica?) will be pushed by those individuals with the highest biotech augmentations in an effort to further increase their will to control the universe.

this scenario can not be achieved without a form of world unification. Seperate religions will have to be brought down to herald in the birth of the digital utopian paradigm. All the religions on the planet will harmonize when the people of the world are presented with a digital messiah that will be everything that everyone has been expecting.

Digital rapture will occur with the mass exodus from physical reality to virtual reality. The promise of everlasting love will entice people to leave their physical bodies and become pure spirit.

This beautiful world will only be accessed by enlightened true believers, it will be the Digital Rapture.
