A Japanese card game with cards based on shogi pieces. It's very fun, very fast-paced, and very easy to learn!

I'm still writing the written rules, come back soon!

Sorry for the background noise.

  • It's pretty fun. It plays a little bit like Bridge and other traditional card games with a bit of poker involved. It's a great game for chess players who need a break from serious forms of chess like Shogi. The game usually comes down to a critical moment where a player must decide what card to attack with that cannot be blocked by one of their opponents. Since the players can see most cards that have been played near the end, it requires a bit of guesswork to figure out the right move.

  • My opponents were disgusted playing against me: First round, I directly made 100 points, and then second round 50 points -> game over! :-D

But yes, great card game indeed.

  • Hi. Great tutorial. It was great to play this game @ the ISF. It's true that it's a really fun, high paced game, and its nothing to do with the actual shogi, in terms of it's complex strategies. (As long as no one player gets 4 'gons'/lances in hand :P)

  • Seems interesting.
