And.. You realize that there were other, actual Metal genres alive during this time, right? It's not like Metal was dead, it has never died, it just went underground where it belongs. @Thanos700 You have it in your head that Nu-Metal makes a fair comparison to Black Sabbath. You're not only insulting Black Sabbath by making that comparison, you're insulting all of Metal. The reason people don't accept Nu-Metal as a Metal genre is because it has no relation to Black Sabbath, you can trace every Metal genre back to its roots, but you can't with Nu-Metal, because it's not Metal.

You know, the entire genre basically spawned by Black Sabbath, in which Black Sabbath worship is at its greatest, and has been going, non-stop, since Black Sabbath started? There hasn't been a decade that Doom Metal hasn't been strong. IT is keeping Black Sabbath alive. Not some poser-tripe trend genre like Nu-Metal.

@ThazuaBlackarrow and OZZY WAS GREAT IN THE LATE 80'S AND EARLY 90'S... Stillborn was one of the best songs on the radio...
