Kontakt Acoustic Nylon Guitar

Live improvisation using the VRSound Kontakt Nylon Guitar samples. The program detects legato notes and selects "hammer on" and Pull off" samples accordingly. It also generates random string noises and triggers note release samples. Combined these features allow for a very realistic sound.

@cyberhmoob Buy a cheap polyphonic midi guitar controller (You Rock Guitar or Yamaha EZ-AG) and let it rip. If you make mistakes, you can always edit them. That is the only way to get a realistic and authentic feel of an actual guitarist using VST instruments IMO.

As a guitarist, I find this piece almost technically impossible. No one does sweeps on acoustics haha

I think the problem with VST's lies in the person playing the sample during recording. The results are stiff, non authentic samples. I tried Electr6, NI products, virone, A legends and none of them can generate the type of tone and smoothness I am after. I just wished I was a skilled guitarist but man there must be a way to record those special smooth guitar styles into vsts so we don't have to play them. You know what I mean, the smooth techniques real guitarists use.

This sounds really good. Unfortunately when I used the same sample in Kontakt4 it didn't sound as realistic. Played it in via Novation SL61 control surface too. Not sure what went wrong
